Third Class have enjoyed the last few weeks looking after their garden bed and getting it ready to plant. Once it was ready we planted flowers and radishes. Hopefully we see some growth soon !

3rd Class had a blast celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. We performed Irish dancing, Tin whistle, a poem as Gaeilge and some hurling skills at assembly for everybody.

A Happy St. Patrick’s Day weekend and Mothers Day from Third Class.

World Book Day is a reminder that every book holds a doorway to discovery. We took a moment during the day to celebrate the joy of books. We based our art off some of our childhood favourite books; Mr Men, Little Miss and Peter Pan.

A song we’ve been learning in Third Class at the moment. We’re hoping to perform this at assembly!
We have just completed the ‘Orienteering’ strand in PE. Through fun, hands-on activities, we developed key skills such as map reading, problem-solving, teamwork, and spatial awareness. Working both independently and in small groups, 3rd Class followed clues, navigated courses, and learned how to make quick decisions while staying active.

We loved pairing up with Senior Infants to do some reading in our lovely library!

We loved learning about letter writing and taking a trip to our local post-box.
